Bedford on Call (BEDOC) is a non-profit making community benefit society, whose membership comprises of local GP’s, staff and community representatives.The organisation is governed by the council. BEDOC is a member of Urgent Health UK (UHUK) which is a national organisation made up of various not for profit social enterprise organisations.This national organisation monitors the quality of services provided by its members though a robust audit process.Indeed BEDOC was also awarded a social enterprise mark which it has maintained by ensuring it has primarily social and environmental aims and trades to benefit people and planet. BEDOC prides itself on delivering a high quality service and encourages both staff and patients alike to feedback to the organisation so it can listen, learn and grow as a result.
