Please do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice if you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature. You are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Click here for further information.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, GPs and other community services will have fewer available staff, appointments and resources. Therefore, it is vital for all our patients to be vigilant at managing their own health and well-being, wherever possible. This will help alleviate the burden on the NHS and allow healthcare professionals to focus on caring for those very sick with Covid-19.
To help with your self-care, BEDOC have produced several how-to guides. We hope to keep adding to these so watch this space!
Every Mind Matters has now released expert advice and top tips on how to look after your mental wellbeing if you need to stay at home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. It also includes guidance if you’re feeling worried or anxious about the outbreak. Please visit: www.nhs.uk/oneyou/every-mind-matters/
If you require any further self-care advice, the NHS Website gives guidance for many common symptoms and conditions.
