Kevin Parker is our newly appointed CEO of BEDOC. Kevin has over 30 years strategic and operational experience within Primary, Secondary and Social Care, which has included managing two large out of hours GP services, and project managing complex service redesigns for numerous NHS organisations. Kevin has also been a Director of two charities supporting a range of service users with complex needs.
Information & Clinical Governance Manager
Helen Barker has worked for BEDOC since 2010, and recently started in her new position as Information and Clinical Governance Manager.
Lesley Quinn is the newly appointed lead nurse for BEDOC. Lesley's role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including conducting site visits and maintaining contact with clinicians working within BEDOC.
Deputy Operations Manager
Melanie Harvey works for BEDOC as the Deputy Operations Manager and also manages the Multidisciplinary team contract. She works as a lynchpin in the co-ordination of shift management, staff rotas and inductions and ensures adequate equipment is available at each base
Natalie has joined the team as a new administrator and will be involved in rota fill, shift allocation and assisting with Reporting and equipment supplies. She will be also supporting Mary with Referrals. We are very pleased to welcome her to the team!
Dr John Kedward is our Medical Director at BEDOC. John has 27 years experience working as a GP and currently practices as a GP in Bedfordshire. His role has also included extensive work in GP education and training, and for many years has supported the GP Out of Hours Service.
Operations Manager /PCN Network Manager
Sandra Mabbott joined our team at BEDOC initially as Network Project Manager but has taken on a dual role as our Operations Manager. Sandra has brought with her years of experience within in Practice Management. Her role within BEDOC involves her overseeing all the Rota’s, shift fill, and conducting site visits associated with the Extended Access Service and Extended Hours Service.
Medicines Management Lead
Sarah Morrish is our newly appointed medicines management lead at BEDOC.
Elieen is our MDT Coordinators, working closely with Melanie to arrange meetings and ensure cohseive communciation across all our services.
Dr Dayo Kuku is Chair of BEDOC and a practising GP. She has supported BEDOC for many years and we welcome her invalubale experience and support.
Tracey Caton is our Finance Manager for BEDOC. Tracey was originally involved in the project managing of the Extended Access service, but now fully focuses on finance.
Mary Jones works for BEDOC as our medical secretary, following years of experience in general practice. She joined BEDOC at the end of last year.
